Renting a container in winter: what to know

Short answer
Yes, we deliver year-round, even in January. In winter (December–March), we grant extra days given the conditions, protect the driveway against frost and scraping, and adapt the truck to snow. Keep the container access cleared of snow on pickup day to avoid delays.
We deliver year-round
Quebec winter doesn't stop job sites, and it doesn't stop our deliveries. We run in December just like July, with trucks equipped for snow and ice. Interior renovations often peak in winter — we're there to haul the debris.
What changes in winter
- Extra days granted (Dec–Mar) based on conditions.
- Plywood under the container to keep it from freezing to the surface.
- A cleared, de-iced access on pickup day avoids delays.
- We plan around storms and parking bans.
Frequently asked questions
Can the container freeze to the ground?
That's exactly why we put plywood underneath: it creates a barrier and makes lifting easy even in deep cold.
Do I need to clear snow before pickup?
Ideally, clear the access to the container and the truck's manoeuvring area. Snow-blocked access can push back pickup.
Do you deliver during a storm?
We prioritize safety: during a major storm we push a day and text you. No weather-related penalty.
